The developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator continue to share new reveals and add-on releases for the popular simulation, and today we get more.

The developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator continue to share new reveals and add-on releases for the popular simulation, and today we get more.

We start with Iris Simulations, which has released new screenshots of its upcoming Pilatus PC-21 trainer, which is currently in beta testing ahead of release.

We continue with the release of a very relevant airport in Southeast Asia, Incheon International Airport (RKSI), which serves the capital of South Korea, Seoul.

It’s available on the developer’s own store for $28.99.

  • Product tested with the latest Sim update (SU10);
  • Accuracy of Terminal 1 and new Terminal 2 buildings, hall, hangars, towers, cargo buildings and airport layout;
  • Accuracy of Songdo city and major parts of buildings/skyscrapers in Incheon city;
  • Custom animated walkways;
  • Video Docking Guidance System (VDGS) type 3 programmed for all doors in Terminal 1 (Safedock T1), Terminal 2 (AIDA) and Concourse (Honeywell);
  • Latest high resolution orthoimages (7 cm to 30 cm pixels) replacing the MS version (covers the whole island of Incheon);
  • Accurate hand-placed autogen (vegetation) conforms to city, town, district, parking lot and farm grids;
  • Incheon Bridge connecting Incheon International Airport (Yeongjong Island) to the mainland. (the longest bridge in South Korea);
  • Fully optimized for a smooth simulation experience;
  • New taxiways, runways (16 L/R-34 L/R)
  • New overnight parking lot to the north;
  • New de-icing zones in the north and in the middle of the field;
  • New Cool Cargo Center for mid-field refrigerated cargo;
  • Added realistic ribs using correct blending techniques;
  • Added wharf, fuel storage yards, and buildings in coastal areas near Songdo and Incheon Island.
  • Added buildings and skyscrapers on Incheon Island and near the airport;
  • Addition of fire stations at the airport (south, east and west areas of the airfield);
  • Added airport catering buildings and service/maintenance buildings;
  • Added grunge work showing tire marks on tracks and taxiways;

Finally, iniBuild announced a flagship Venice Beach package, designed to accompany its upcoming Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX).

Last but not least, today (September 24), the Flight Simulation Association will host a live panel on the topic of “Gaming vs. Flight Simulation”.
